Job Description:
**Summary:
We are looking for a HSE&C Manager, AGT, Egypt and Oman to support the delivery of projects in AGT and the Middle East region. Our future teammate will ensure the smooth transition of projects through the optimize, define and execute project phases and eventual handover to production. It will also provide HSE&C support to Egypt subsea activities delivered by the Central Subsea Team. The manager will lead of team of H&S and E&S resource and assign those resources to support business priorities.
In this role, you will work with the North Sea Project HSE&C Manager to integrate HSE&C performance at the VP level, to enable the LT to have an integrated view of HSE&C delivery across the portfolio. You will also work with the Production HSE&C Manager to integrate activity at a regional level, enabling risks and urgent requests for support to be communicated to the business leadership team.
You will also be a member of the HSE&C Projects, Wells and Sub-Surface Leadership Team and work with the central Projects HSE&C team and the wider HSE&C community to bring best practise into the team, share findings and to obtain SME support.
We expect you to:
- Deliver the HSE&C activities in line with Project Delivery Common Process, supporting safe and compliant operations and activities.- Provide clear direction and prioritisation on HSE&C risk and objectives and deploy resource from within the team to support Projects and IMR activities in the Operating base.- Be accountable for development and implementation of the Operating base specific HSE&C plan, based on the Global Projects plan, and its integration and alignment into regional HSE&C plans.- Drive implementation of the Projects priority sustainability aims in the Operating base.- Work in collaboration with the GCD team to support FEL for Projects in the Operating base.- Build and maintain local business and external relationships to achieve bp’s HSE&C goals.- Collaborate with the North Sea Projects HSE&C Manager to deliver the Projects SORC and owns and facilitates AGT Projects Safety meetings.- Identify resourcing needs for future activity in the ME region and cooperate with the regional team to identify potential resource.- Provide pro-active and visible HSE&C leadership to project teams.- Embed the HSE&C self-verification and oversight framework ensuring HSE&C risks and barriers strengths are verified.- Support Projects Leadership with Incident Investigation and subsequent learning process.- Lead HSE&C performance management, advising on emerging risks and improvement opportunities.- Be responsible for people management and staff development.- Act as a primary contact with the regional HSE&C team.- Raise urgent requires for support to other supporting functions of the HSE&C organisation.- 15+ years of experience in an HSE&C role or equivalent line roles with HSE&C accountabilities.- Proven ability to drive and influence safety culture.- Ability to mentor and develop people - particularly through the lens of Diversity and Inclusion, Awareness of Carbon agenda, Contractor Safety Management, Risk Management, Process Safety, Environment and Social, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, CCM / ER.- Experience in managing and prioritizing activity across multiple work fronts.Why join our team?
