Description
Perform physico-chemical analysis of food, Water, Wastewater, Cosmetic Products, Personal Care products and products covered under the scope of Scientific Laboratory Services Limited Registration.
- Maintain the management system and ensure that it’s implemented inside the laboratory.
- Ensure that all results generated in the Laboratory are accurate, credible, and reliable and in line with approved analytical standards such as NIS, ISO and relevant standards.
- Ensure all chemicals and reagents used in the Lab are within their Expiry Period.
- Monitor and record the environmental conditions (Temperature and Humidity) of the Chemistry Unit.
- Update Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions in the Chemistry Laboratory.
- Monthly report of Laboratory Inventory (Chemicals, glasswares, instruments, and Consumables) and equipments.
- Monitor/ ensures that good housekeeping is maintained in the Laboratory.
- Ensure routine calibration of Laboratory equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a BSc in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Biochemistry is compulsory.
- Minimum of 1 year cognate experience, preferably in a public laboratory.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment.
- Strong intellectual, analytical, and communication skills
- Problem-solver, result-oriented and high-integrity index.
Salary: ₦50,000.00 - ₦60,000.00 per month
