EBG MedAustron GmbH in Wiener Neustadt operates one of the most modern centers for particle therapy and research in Europe. Cancer patients are treated with an innovative form of radiation therapy with protons and carbon ions. In addition to cancer treatment the facility is also used for translational research.
Head of Project Management (f/m/x):
Fulltime (40 hours weekly):
Challenges you conquer**:
- Definition of project objectives and check of the project efficiency
- Development of project plans including resource planning and project documentation
- Project coordination and controlling
- Permanent alignment with the project sponsor and communication with stakeholders
- Introducing and leading project management board meetings to identify and prioritize areas for improvement
- Further development of the modern tool landscape, as well as methods and templates for project management
- Conception, implementation and support of the project resource planning process
- Establishment of a standardized information and reporting system for projects, programs and portfolios - definition, data collection and analysis of KPls, metrics and reports
- Supporting activities to strengthen the project manager community (e.g. PM Jour Fixes,
PM After Works, PM working groups) - Development and management of qualified project managers and project assistants for development, customer and internal projects
A background that impresses**:
- Completed commercial and/or technical education (FH, university, etc.)
- Experience in leading PMOs and/or project management teams in complex environments
- Min. 10 years of experience in managing the entire life cycle of complex projects and programs
- Experience with traditional and agile project management methodology, ideally with portfolio management
- Ideally coaching and mentoring experience
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to accompany and support change
- Very good presentation and communication skills in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment
- Good organizational skills and very team-minded
- Willingness to go on business trips
- Fluency in verbal and written English; German is an advantage
- Profound MS Office knowledge

For legal reasons, we must point out that the minimum salary for this position is €80,000 gross per year (full-time basis). However, our attractive salary packages are based on current market salaries.
For the advertised position we offer a gross annual salary according to our internal salary scheme.
