As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for owning the performance of Dubizzle cars Branch operations, Home inspections, Logistics, Inventory management & Transfers across Egypt. You will partner with cross-functional teams to lead operational process improvement ensuring best practices and creating the blueprint for standardised processes and systems across all sites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take ownership of the on-ground operations and the different functions with-in it.
  • Support the teams with all queries related to business and operations.
  • Identify operational and structural weaknesses and help improve existing processes or develop new processes keeping the customer in mind and best practices.
  • Prepare statistics & data and compile accurate reports. Analyse and improve process and service procedures, policies, and standards.
  • Coordinate and give feedback to the concerned departments on business processes and any client complaints. Maintain working relationships with all concerned departments.
  • Mentor and develop the operations team and nurture an environment where they can excel through encouragement and empowerment
  • Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyse variances; initiating corrective actions
  • KPI management and tracking team member performance
  • Continuously look towards improving the existing operations and focusing on scale.
  • Formulate strategic and operational objectives
  • Timely and accurate updates/information provided to relevant teams and senior management
  • Ability to work with the team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor&/Master& degree in Business Administration/Operations Management.
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or Project Management - 2 to 4 years.
  • Experience working in a large tech/automotive/ecommerce B2C company
  • Experience in multi-site branded operations and On-demand logistics (not mandatory)
  • Understanding of continuous improvement techniques to drive change.
  • Strong understanding of Operations Management, Customer centricity, Project Management & Supply Chain.
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Managerial and leadership skills with ability to manage people.
  • Planning, organising and delegation of tasks and functions
  • Strong team player who has worked cross-function before to coordinate and meet deadlines
