Dry Storage Coordinator

Trafigura-Athens, Greece

Main Purpose:
As a Dry Storage Coordinator you will play a crucial role in keeping track of company’s global storage position and ensuring that all facilities that Trafigura store product at have efficiently gone through storage approval process.

You will also, provide decision making monthly reporting to management.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Shipping, Logistics or similar field
  • Proficient in English both in spoken and written
  • Someone who is organised, careful, pays attention to detail, able to work in a fast paced environment, looking after a range of high priority issues

Technical knowledge preferable to include:

  • Basic understanding of logistics and advance understanding of contract terms.
  • Strong Excel capabilities and Analytics such as QV, Power BI, etc.

Proficiencies:

  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Completing tasks and fulfilling responsibilities in a timely manner with high quality results
  • High degree of responsibility and accountability
  • Meticulous and detailed oriented
  • Outstanding team member who has advanced analytical skills
  • The ability to quickly adjust to changing circumstances

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Storage coordination process and handling software updates
  • Renewals of all facilities’ documentation and Storage Contracts Review
  • Reporting to management

Our Storage department interacts with: Operations, Traders, Contracts, Credit, Finance, insurance departments
