PRODUCT MANAGER, NUTRITION:
Our team in Bangkok currently has an opening for a Product Manager, Nutrition

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the business with respective sales teams across various Food & Nutrition sub-industries to achieve budget and ensure profitable growth
  • Manage and monitor the demand & supply (stock inventory) to ensure healthy levels of inventory and sell-out by country business teams to customers
  • Responsible for ensuring proper forecast (as required by suppliers) is submitted in collaboration with respective sales members and planning team
  • Be the single point of contact between the suppliers for products related topics like price, volume, product launches, training, documentation, registrations and liaising with regulatory
  • Ensure the sales teams establish an active and healthy pipeline of business opportunities for the suppliers’ products and generate new revenue from it
  • Co-visit key customers with sales team, especially customers and pipeline important to the suppliers’ business to influence purchase decision and obtain latest customers’ insights and updates
  • Provide market intelligence, market trends and performance reports to key suppliers and conduct periodic business reviews
  • Develop product management strategy and reviewing of local contracts with suppliers
  • Identify suitable new suppliers for products and manage suppliers relationship
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager

YOUR PROFILE:
Education:Bachelor’s in Food Science, Chemicals or related field preferred
Experience: 5 - 10 years in sales & marketing / business development / industry development / product management in the Food & Nutrition industry preferred
Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong communications & interpersonal skills with ability to manage and influence business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial, with strong business acumen and market knowhow
    Results oriented
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multi-cultural and matrix organization
  • Knowledge of MS office package; especially MS Excel and PowerPoint and Reporting Systems such Qliksense
  • Enthusiastic, fast learner + self-driven and a good team player
  • Able to work effectively in the absence of daily direct supervision
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
  • Resilient and have a “can-do” attitude
