COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Provide leadership and direction to the Grants department, by identifying & approaching prospective donors, developing projects, and monitoring and evaluating ongoing programs. Oversees the financial administration of grants, and ensures that program staff accomplish their approved program initiatives while meeting compliance and reporting requirements of donors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identity and approach potential donors produce sufficient number and quality of prospects in order to produce extensive institutional donor profiles, target appropriate ask amounts; and prioritize and evaluate prospects for corporate, foundation, and government grants
- Ensure compliance with the rules and regulations administered by the grantor; oversee special audits conducted by grantor
- Develop outreach strategies to maintain and increase fundraising from bi-lateral and multilateral donors and foundations, corporate entities, E-fundraising and Crowd Funding Events as well as donations
- Develop understanding, techniques and best practices to design an effective fund-raising strategy
- Tailor development projects and fundraising messages while approaching various funding sources
- Effectively communicate developed messages and causes, using narrative tools such as case statements, progress reports and success stories
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop an impact marketing plans
- Serve as a liaison with other departments on issues regarding grants
- Monitor interventions and programs funded by grants to ensure compliance with grantor guidelines
- Assist in evaluating the fiscal administration of grant programs
- Manage existing grants by tracking grants, developing internal reporting systems, writing reports, maintaining excellent historical records, working with staff to ensure each project or program is meeting proposal conditions and expectations
- Manage the performance of assigned staff through continuous coaching and development
- Develop winning proposals for differing donor entities that complies with RFP requirements
- Conducts monitoring and evaluation of grants implementation
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
_ Required_
- Minimum of BA/BS in relevant field
- Minimum of five years’ experience with grants, grants writing, and grants management
- Proven track record of raising money from foundation and government sources
- Program development experience required
- Previous experience with non-profit fundraising
- Excellent Experience with proposal writing and institutional donors
- Excellent knowledge of fundraising techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent English language proficiency and writing skills
- Knowledge and familiarity with research techniques for fundraising prospect research
- Experience with budget development and monitoring
- Excellent computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs
- Knowledge of contracts and agreements is required Preferred
- Master’s degree
- Minimum TOEIC score of 950 or equivalent
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (either on a full time, temporary, or hybrid basis).

Up to 5% business travel may be needed to support as needed.
