Establish and maintain effective HSSE Management Systems for project execution referencing to local legal requirements, client specifications and CES_SDC requirements.

  • Ensure the CES_SDC’s Management System Manual (MSM), HSSE Procedure Manual are established and maintained in support of CES’s Policies, Objectives & Targets, Management Programme, Awards and Certifications.
  • Work closely with Management/HODs/PDs/PMs/Project Teams in meeting CES_SDC’s HSSE objectives and targets by initiating, recommending or providing effective corrective actions / risk mitigating control measures through managing changes, documentations and risk registers.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HSE /Engineering or Architectural.
  • At least 10 years’ experience in managing Health, Safety, Security & Environmental (HSSE) for the engineering, procurement and construction especially in infrastructure projects with a minimum of 5 years of managerial experience.
  • Responsible for HQ / project HSSE leadership and management from tender, mobilisation through to completion and commissioning.
  • Require good judgement and the ability to render decisions and/or recommendations where policies and procedures are not clearly defined.
  • Familiar with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, GGBS and local legal requirements.
  • Determined and committed in establishing strong HSSE processes in CES_SDC projects.
  • Passionate in solving problems, team building, up-to-date in HSSE programs and technologies. Possesses tenacity to commitments and responsibilities.
  • Knowledgeable in RM, PTW, BBSO, Leading & Lagging Indicators, Method Statements, Inspection Checklists, NCRs, CARs and Root Cause Analysis.
