Job Description:
- Proactively strategize and build a profitable business portfolio of local and regional markets.
- Conduct research of market fundamentals, track market movements and create strategies to develop business and relationships with suppliers and customers globally.
- Work closely with the management team on developing new products and discussion on pricing and new market opportunities.
- Regular coordination with Operations, Chartering and Hedging team for deal execution.
- Travel as and when required to establish and develop customers.
Job Requirements:
- A recognized university degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience in trading commodities, preferably in petrochemicals.
- Has a proven track record in trading strategies, proactive and is keen to details.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills with good command of English.
- A good team player and can work with minimum supervision.
