Job Location:Batu Kawan

Job Summary:
Responsible for planning, buying, sourcing and expediting materials, commodities from approved vendor lists both locally and overseas.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers and meeting quality requirements.
  • Negotiate pricing, commercial terms with local and overseas suppliers.
  • Execute cost reduction initiatives.
  • Maintain and execute supplier’s scorecard programs.
  • Work towards achieving given objectives such as inventory management, cost reduction, materials availability and quality management.
  • Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management/ Engineering / Science/ Mathematics/ Materials /Industrial Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of working experiences.
  • Must have full knowledge of SAP.
  • Able to communicate and drive supplier for the 4OOR closure in timeline.
  • Proactive on the task been given with good attitude and result oriented.
  • Working shifted is required since need to have contact with different time zone suppliers.
  • English and Mandarin spoken since need to deal some of China suppliers.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: Up to RM7,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Night shift
