Within SIX, our Billing & Payments Standards team is responsible for the development and further development of the standards for Swiss payment transactions. These include the Swiss Payments Standards (SPS), which describes the interface between banks and their end customers, as well as the Implementation Guidelines for participation in Swiss Interbank Clearing (SIC). In addition to these central standards, we also manage the EBICS guidelines for Switzerland and represent Switzerland in various international bodies, e.g. for SEPA or ISO 20022.

What You Will Do:
- Supporting the team in the development and maintenance of payment transaction standards for Switzerland based on ISO 20022.
- Work on the translation of the results into appropriate documents, XSD and rules in the validation protocol for customers (e.g. regular expression)
- Run analysis to manage technical dependencies between standards and systems holistically, considering different stakeholders (banks, software providers, standardization bodies)
- Research, evaluate and support the adaption of new technologies and methodologies (e.g. JSON as additional syntax, yaml as new ways of documentation)
- Support the team with the management of the used tools (GEFEG.FX) and the in
- and external validation portal.
- Administrative and organizational tasks such as organizing meetings, management of the agenda, writing minutes for various committees
What You Bring:
- Current studies (Bachelor or Master) preferably in the fields of business informatics / engineering
- Fast comprehension, reliability and trustworthiness with a detail oriented working style
- Technical affinity with initial experience in modeling (e.g. UML), syntax and semantics (e.g. XML, JSON) and data exchange concepts (file-transfer, API).
- Team player with a proactive personality
- Fluent in German and English is a requirement for this position
