My client, a market-leading build and fitout contractor with a strong foothold in the industry, is currently seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a Pharma build project located in Dun Laoghaire.

Position Overview:
As a Health and Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment on our Pharma build project. This is a position suitable for both junior and mid-level professionals with a salary range of 40,000 to 45,000 euros.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations.
  • Deliver health and safety training to site personnel.
  • Keep abreast of industry changes and updates in health and safety legislation.

Requirements:

  • Health and Safety qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Health and Safety Officer in the construction industry in Ireland.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential hazards.
