Site Engineer (Sr)

My Client, a highly reputable construction company with a strong presence Nationwide are currently looking for an experienced Senior level Site / Civil Engineer to work for them directly on a permanent basis.

The site itself is an apartment build located in Inchicore, this is a long term role which is set to commence mid February so interviews will start straight away.

Responsibilities:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a vital role in various construction projects, from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting site set-out and measurements to ensure accurate implementation of project designs.
• Collaborating with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Overseeing construction activities to ensure they comply with specifications and quality standards.
• Monitoring progress and providing regular reports to project stakeholders.
• Problem-solving and addressing any technical issues that may arise during construction.
• Contributing to the implementation of health and safety protocols on the construction site.
• Using advanced surveying equipment, Total Station, to ensure precise measurements and layout.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a BSc in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience as a Site Engineer in the construction industry is essential.
• Proficiency in using Total Station.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on-site in South Dublin, with occasional travel to other locations if required.
• 3+ years previous experience working as a site Engineer
