Description
Champion Bakery & Cafe in Wellsford offers wide range of selection for breakfast and lunches. We currently look for two hardworking and reliable Bakery Assistants to join our team. Working hours is from 30 to 40 hours per week. Pay rate ranges from $28.50 to $30 per hour.
- Able to start at 4.30am and available to work on weekends and public holidays.
- Physically fit for heavy liftings and tasks that requires physical strength.
- Able to learn fast and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Have strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- No qualification needed; previous experience is preferable but not essential.
Your duties will include:
- Clean and sanitize food preparation areas and baking/cooking equipment.
- Check oven and baking/cooking equipment to ensure everything works well.
- Restock used items and assist with ordering food supplies.
- Assist baker with cutting, moulding and shaping dough and pastry goods.
- Weight and measure ingredients.
- Assist baker to prepare ingredients such as pastry fillings, sauces etc.
- Pack food items and beverage for serving.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
