Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant *(CPA) */preferred/

  • Must have a valid Driving License:

  • Knowledge of accounting principles: Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is essential which includes understanding financial statements, accrual accounting, revenue recognition, and basic cost accounting.

  • Financial analysis skills:The ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate meaningful reports is crucial in accounting roles.
  • Proficiency in Excel or other spreadsheet software.
  • Bookkeeping and record-keeping: A solid understanding of bookkeeping practices, including maintaining general ledgers, reconciling accounts, and recording financial transactions accurately.
  • Taxation knowledge: Familiarity with tax laws and regulations both Oman & UAE
  • Software proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software used programs include QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle Financials, and other industry-specific software.
  • Attention to detail: Accurate and meticulous work, reconciling accounts, identifying errors, and preparing financial statements.
  • Industry knowledge:Familiarity with the tourism industry and its unique accounting considerations, such as revenue recognition for bookings and inventory management for hotels or travel agencies.
  • Proficient in ERP Next System.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: RO400.000 - RO500.000 per month
