Description
Responsibilities:
- Execute trades in vegetable oil products, including purchasing and selling, to maximize profitability and minimize risks.
- Analyze market trends, supply and demand dynamics, and pricing fluctuations to make informed trading decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, producers, brokers, and clients to ensure reliable and efficient trading operations.
- Monitor global and regional market developments, regulatory changes, and geopolitical factors that may impact vegetable oil markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as logistics, finance, and risk management to ensure smooth execution of trades and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers and clients to optimize trading opportunities.
- Prepare and present regular reports on market analysis, trading performance, and risk management to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in vegetable oil trading or a related commodity trading field, preferably within the Vietnamese market.
- Strong understanding of vegetable oil products, market fundamentals, and trading strategies.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in market analysis tools and techniques.
- Proven track record of successful trading and risk management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Fluency in both English and Vietnamese languages is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
