Specifically, to support the creating, updating, testing, and reviewing of business rules within the business rules engines. These systems are critical to many of Bupa Global's processes, including the effective operation of the claims process - ensuring excellent service to customers, adherence to regulatory requirements and cost-effective resolutions. Maintenance of the business rules engines are vital in assisting with reducing our OPEX ratio.
This is a business focussed role within a technical team, supporting customer systems. The role will not require technical expertise on rule development but knowledge and understanding logic and mechanisms behind rule maintenance and instruction is preferred.
How you'll help us make health happen:
- Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of capabilities of our customer servicing systems, including Pulse, InRule, eGain, Genesys and LivePerson.
- Take ownership for the clarification, interpretation and implementation of solutions and how they are incorporated into the Rules Authoring Tool
- Deliver the best solutions for business rule improvements that support Bupa's goals by fully understanding the capability/limitations of the rules system
- Test the functionality of new and existing rules to ensure they're fit for purpose by overseeing planning, development, and execution of rules
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Strong background on sciences with a logical or arithmetic nature.
- Previous experience in customer services and/or IT within a regulated environment preferrable
- Educated ideally to ‘A' level or equivalent ideally with additional higher education that demonstrates Information Technology, Financial or commercial understanding.
