Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Lead and inspire the business development team to achieve set targets and foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Strategic Business Development: Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with organizational goals, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, act as a key point of contact for client engagement and satisfaction.
- Proposal Development: Oversee the creation of compelling and strategic proposals that resonate with client requirements.
- Strategic Presentations: Create and deliver presentations that effectively communicate complex strategic concepts.
- Project Leadership: Lead project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and overseeing the successful execution of projects.
- Office Administration Excellence: Administer the office with a focus on excellence, implementing operational efficiencies.
- Direct Reporting to MD/CEO: Act as a direct liaison between the core strategic vision and day-to-day operations, providing regular updates on key initiatives and project statuses.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record of at least 5 years in a managerial role, preferably in consulting or a similar industry.
- Strategic Vision and Leadership: Ability to think strategically, provide strategic leadership, and collaborate with the MD/CEO.
- Global Perspective and Networking: Understanding of international development and the ability to build strategic networks.
- Innovation and Adaptability: Proven track record of innovation and adaptability in reshaping consultancy approaches.
- Communication and Presentation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
- Research Excellence: Strong research skills with a track record of impactful research in international development.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Financial Acumen: Understanding of budgeting and financial management.
- Office Administration and Coordination: Experience in office administration, facilities management, and organizational coordination.
