MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development of new products and solutions, aligned with Sika's strategic objectives and market needs for Retail/Distribution channel.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market opportunities and customer needs
- Manage the product development process, including product definition, prototyping, testing, and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Operations, Sales, Target Markets, Marketing to ensure successful product development and launch.
- Develop and manage product specifications including clearly define product features, functionalities, and performance criteria.
- Develop and maintain product documentation, including technical data sheets, safety data sheets, and marketing materials
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Support the Sales team (internal Sales team) and Prodealer’s Sales team with product training and technical support to ensure they have deep understanding of product features and benefits.
- Manage product budgets and timelines
Qualifications JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- University degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in product development, preferably in building materials industry for *Retail/Distribution *channel
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management (PLM) principles
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to have frequent travels across the country
