Scope and General Purpose of Job:
As our Sales Manager, you will be responsible for selling hotel rooms and banquet space, developing marketing strategies, and building long-term relationships with clients. Your duties will include maintaining a customer database, carrying out direct marketing activities, responding to sales inquiries, and conducting market research.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop a computerized customer and prospect database.
• Plan and execute direct marketing activities within budget and sales targets.
• Respond to sales inquiries via post, telephone, and personal visits.
• Monitor and report on sales activities, providing management with relevant information.
• Conduct market research, competitor, and customer surveys.
• Liaise with internal teams to support individual account management.
• Identify prospective clients' needs and develop tailored sales proposals.
• Make onsite and field presentations to prospective clients.
• Participate in local community activities to develop business opportunities.

Commercial Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate with guests, clients, and business partners to promote the hotel's image and business.
• Participate in community projects to enhance the hotel's reputation and community relationships.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in related fields or equivalent experience required.
• Strong background in selling rooms, F&B, catering, and meeting rooms.
• Experience selling to a variety of market segments.
• Ability to evaluate alternatives and make informed decisions.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
