Quantity Surveying Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Cost Estimation: Utilize your proficiency in SolidWorks and MS Excel to accurately estimate the costs associated with the construction of 1000 villas, considering factors such as materials, labor, and equipment.
- Budget Management: Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
- Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for cost savings and value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Contract Management: Assist in the preparation and evaluation of contracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to anticipate potential financial challenges and implement mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Progress Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on project progress, cost variances, and forecasting to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to optimize project outcomes and resolve any cost-related issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveying Engineer, preferably in town planning projects or residential construction.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for design and modeling, as well as advanced skills in MS Excel for cost estimation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience working with main contractors or engineering consulting companies is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with project management software and cost estimation tools is a plus.
