Description
Resposibilites:
- Installation, commissioning, configuration, Acceptance Testing of telecom systems at Substation and LDC which includes SDH Multiplexers, MPLS-TP switches, Ethernet switches, Fiber optics cables, Grid station telephone network system.
- Maintenance: Preventive maintenance, break down maintenance, periodic maintenance, system configuration review, Emergency maintenance in grid station and LDC server room.
- Conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and diagnose hardware and software problems.
- Testing: Conduct various test at field using different tools like throughput test, Ethernet tester, OTDR, LAN tester, power meter, optical source etc.
- Supervision: Supervision and auditing of third-party contractor to carry out task and project in order to meet OETC specification.
- Follow-up telecom projects implementations and verify the compalince with the design.
- Incidents handling: analysis of incidents at grid station, make report and take corrective measurement.
Skills:
- Knowledge of telecom systems technologies: SDH, MPLS, VoIP, Switching, Routing, VPN.
- Network management skills and comprehensive knowledge of broadband technology
- Ability to make prompt decisions
- Habit of staying organized
- Well-developed analytical, investigation and problem solving skills
- Strong teamwork preferred
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecom, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field
- 0-2 years of experience
