Description
Responsibilities: -
- Consult with clients to understand their design requirements, and preferences for residential, commercial, or institutional interior spaces
- Develop creative and functional interior design concepts and solutions that meet the client's needs
- Select and specify appropriate furniture, fixtures, finishes, materials, and equipment to be used in the interior spaces
- Prepare detailed design plans, layouts, and renderings using CAD software and 3D modeling tools
- Conduct site assessments to gather necessary information for the design process
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals to ensure the successful implementation of the interior design project
- Monitor the progress of the design implementation and make necessary adjustments to ensure the final result matches the client's vision
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards
- Provide client presentations and progress updates throughout the design phase
- Maintain a portfolio of past projects to showcase design capabilities and experience
Requirements: -
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in interior design, preferably in the local Bahraini market
- Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of interior design principles and materials
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills to effectively translate client requirements into design solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Bahrain
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills to ensure timely and successful project delivery
- Commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, technologies, and industry best practices
- Bahraini nationality is a requirement for this position
