TASK DESCRIPTION:
The primary purpose of this Kuwait Air Force (KAF) Armament Supply Support task is to support KAF F/A-18 program by expediting/processing requisitions, shipping documents and transactions reports for all F/A-18 Cartridge Actuated Devices/Propellant Actuated Devices/Aircrew Escape Propulsion Systems.
TASK REQUIREMENTS:
- Process armament supply requisitions, expedites high priority requisitions, transaction reports, surveys, and conducts follow-up actions. This includes coordinating the shipping of explosive materials.
- Performs physical supply inventories, as required.
- Researches requisitions, receive materials, inspect and verify material received, and maintains records for receipt/issue of material.
- Performs supply administration filing and data entry when required.
MINIMUM PERSONNEL QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 10 years experience supporting armament supply management. A minimum of two years experience supporting F/A-18 Aircraft within the last 10 years.
- Working knowledge of the U.S. Department of Defense or Navy Supply System and related instructions. Completed a Hazardous Material Course related to shipping and handling of explosives.
- Must possess the ability to understand and read supply and aircraft publications in microfiche and written form.
- Must be able to use and operate personal computers with database/spreadsheet software, accurately input data, and be capable of operating in an automated environment.
- A U.S Secret security clearance is required.
