Salesperson Job Description
Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development:

  • Actively engage in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for the company.
  • Assist in the implementation of sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create quotes.
  • Assist in preparing and delivering sales presentations to potential clients.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales orders.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive products.
  • Provide feedback to leadership regarding market demands and client preferences.

  1. Client Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing suitable product solutions.
  • Respond promptly to client inquiries, providing accurate product information and addressing concerns.
  • Conduct follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

  1. Product Knowledge:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our brands and products.
  • Experience in flooring sales, including ceramics, marble, etc. and sanitary ware.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, features, and benefits of the products to effectively communicate with clients.

  1. Team Growth and Development:

  • Take ownership of personal growth and development by proactively seeking opportunities to enhance skills and expertise.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in for our product lines.

5. Other Duties:

  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned or instructed by leadership to support the overall goals and mission of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of sales experience.
  • Strong willingness to learn and contribute to business development efforts, client relations, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of the design and construction industry, particularly in flooring products like ceramics, and sanitary ware.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to clients.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to meeting and exceeding client expectations.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
