Who we are
Your role will be to**
- Ownership of engineering strategy and its execution.
- Lead the engineering team to maintain high technical standards.
- Represent IT as a core competency within the greehill leadership team.
- Develop the engineering team of 25 colleagues in their technical skills, ambition and ability to deliver quality results in a predictable manner.
- Ensure a cost-effective, scalable architecture that enables predictable delivery and operational stability.
- Refine IT management practices from requirements gathering through planning, delivery and maintenance to commercial aspects such as cost and resource efficiency.
- Manage IT security and privacy to the high standards required by our clients.
We need you to have:
- Proven track record of IT leadership
- Strong technical background, lead developer/IT architect experience in modern tech stack (Python, NodeJs, React, Postgres, Airflow)
- Cloud experience - MS Azure preferred
- Experience with high volume data processing
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in English
- Resilience and ability to adapt to change in a fast paced environment
