Application Development Specialist

Our esteemed Client in Oman is looking for a highly motivated IT Application Development Specialist with the following responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain FIT system (Fund Management, Asset management and Brokerage systems, Online and mobile platform)
• Integration with Market Data Feed such as Bloomberg, Reuters etc.
• Manage user accounts and access controls
• Implement security patches and updates
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks (e.g., disk cleanup, backups)
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Optimize system performance and efficiency
• Collaborate with the vendor on the development and implementation of FIT system modules.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database programming & oracle Database administration.
• Familiarity with web development concepts like HTML, CSS
• Excellent Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Qualification

Bachelor’s Degree from accredited in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Fit system or in a similar role
