A prominent biopharmaceutical company in Shannon is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join their team.
Ideally, You Will Have:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a biopharmaceutical environment.
- Extensive knowledge of biopharmaceutical equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience in commissioning and qualification of process equipment and utilities.
Role Overview: As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the manufacturing organisation, driving process improvements, and assisting with capital and technical transfer project activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- * Manufacturing Support*: Collaborate with the relevant business unit to support manufacturing needs within a highly regulated GMP environment for Advanced Therapeutic Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
- * Capital Projects*: Assist in the design and review of capital projects, focusing on single-use biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
- * Vendor Coordination*: Manage vendor activities for commissioning, qualification, maintenance, calibration, and process enhancements.
- * Engineering Standards*: Help implement and develop engineering specifications and standards relevant to local and multi-site operations.
Requirements:
- Degree qualification in a related Engineering or Science discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Process Engineering role within the biopharmaceutical sector.
- Essential knowledge of cleanroom operations.
- Expertise in biopharmaceutical process operations, including media & buffer preparation, upstream & downstream processes (e.g., single-use bioreactors, centrifuges, UF/DF, TFF).
- Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with fill-finish operations is desirable.
