Lecturer for Diploma in Accountancy (Dia)

Mantissa College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated *Lecturer *to teach the *Diploma in Accountancy *program. This position is ideal for fresh graduates who are passionate about teaching and ready to make a difference in students' academic journeys through face-to-face instruction. The lecturer will be responsible for ensuring high-quality learning experiences and supporting students in building strong foundations in accountancy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, well-prepared lectures and tutorials in accountancy to diploma-level students in physical classroom settings.
• Assist in designing and updating course materials to ensure they are relevant, accurate, and aligned with industry standards.
• Support students' academic development by offering guidance and one-on-one consultations.
• Prepare and administer assessments, assignments, and examinations.
• Ensure assessments are fair, transparent, and aligned with learning outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative and interactive classroom environment to promote active student engagement.
• Address student inquiries, provide academic support, and assist with any learning challenges.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts for the program.
• Work with the academic department to schedule classes, manage resources, and ensure smooth operation of the program.
• Support student recruitment activities, including participating in student orientation and open house events.
• Stay updated on industry trends and ensure course materials reflect current practices in the field of accountancy.
• Collaborate with faculty members to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.

Job Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field is required. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
• Passion for teaching and willingness to engage students in active learning.
