Head Waiter

Position Overview: As the Head Waiter, you will be at the forefront of our dining experience, ensuring that each guest receives top-notch service. You will lead by example, guide and support our waiting staff, and ensure that service runs smoothly during busy shifts. Your role is key in maintaining our high standards and delivering an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of the waiting staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent service.
• Guest Service: Provide attentive, personalized service to guests, addressing any requests or issues promptly and professionally.
• Service Excellence: Oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality food and beverages, including timely and accurate order taking and delivery.
• Operational Efficiency: Manage table assignments, seating arrangements, and dining flow to optimize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Training and Development: Train new staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and best practices to maintain consistency and excellence.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a waiter/waitress in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine pairings and menu items.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage high-pressure situations effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: BD250.000 - BD300.000 per month
