SOIL SAMPLERS - Nationwide positions available
Must have minimum post LC level 5 agri qualification & own vehicle
As a soil sampler, you will be responsible for taking soil samples on farms, through an established process and procedure which will allow for reliable samples to be sent to our laboratories.
- Attend various farm locations in your region.
- Drive to farm locations and take soil samples on farms in line with the training provided.
- Update the soil sampling app provided to confirm tasks completed.
- Prepare a composite soil sample from the soils taken on each farm in line with the standard operating procedure provided.
- Note any issues or concerns.
- Deliver soil samples each day by 5pm to the designated drop off point.
- Ensure that all soil sampling equipment provided is functioning properly and effectively.
- Attend all training and soil sampler meetings if required.
- Complete daily status reports accurately on the app provided.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
- POST LEAVING CERT Level 5 or higher qualification in agriculture or a related field.
- Comfortable with fieldwork all year round.
- Some knowledge of soil sampling techniques and equipment is highly beneficial.
- Proficient in the use of smart phone technology and apps.
