Description
As a Telecommunications Technician at KGT GROUP, you will play a vital role in maintaining and supporting the company's telecommunications infrastructure. This full-time position is based in our Brisbane office, allowing you to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional services to our clients.
What you'll be doing
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment and systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with telecommunication networks and devices
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the IT and engineering teams to implement new technologies and solutions
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed
- Document all work performed and maintain detailed records
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
What we're looking for
- Formal education or training in telecommunications, electronics, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a telecommunications technician or in a similar role
- Strong working knowledge of telecommunications equipment, protocols, and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve issues
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call support as required
