Description
Preferably with 2 to 5 years of experience.
- Should have a teaching background with American Curriculum.
- With excellent communication skills.
- Must have an excellent classroom management skill and able to deal effectively to different student behavior.
Job Overview:
To provide effective leadership and advice to team members, students while inspiring an atmosphere of energy, excitement and achievement. Support high standards of teaching and learning. Engage in extra-curricular activities as required ensuring a high level of good quality participation by a wide range of students.
Responsibilities:
- To support the vision, positive ethos and policies of the whole school and raise standards of the teaching, learning and attainment of students across the school.
- Ensure all teachers are briefed about the Split Up and assessment norms of HAS.
- Support day to day requirements such as examination entry, always planning lessons and teaching to a high standard.
- Maintaining the high professional standards expected of a teacher in our school.
- Keeping up to date with marking and maintaining up to date records of student progress and providing additional support when required.
- To keep abreast of educational developments in line with the needs of the school.
- Identify training needs for the teachers and suggest the training requirement to the Line Manager.
- Ensure timely submission of all documents and assessment reports.
- Ensure all documentation are available and filed proper to meet any inspection from MOE & HE.
Teaching and Learning:
- To be an exemplary teacher, clearly demonstrating effective planning, teaching and organization.
- To be responsible for the development and on-going review of the school’s curriculum and related schemes of work.
- To follow the school’s assessment, recording and reporting procedures.
- Be willing to share good practice within and beyond the department.
- Promote cultural entitlement through the provision of a broad range of enrichment activities during and after the school day.
- To ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of children.
- To be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development plans and growth.
- Implement agreed policies and developments.
- To demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach and assess effectively.
- Use the student tracking and monitoring processes to advance children’s learning and enhance professional practice in line with the school’s aspirations and priorities.

Organization and Resources:
- Support the staff in ensuring that relevant policies and procedures, and systems are in place, up to date and fit for purpose.
- Ensure that the teachers have the necessary teaching aids and resources to teach.
