ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
ROLES:
- Develop and manages welding procedure/operation to meet project/drawing requirements and safety standards
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct visual inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry ASME & AWS specification
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on welds using various methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and DPT radiographic testing.
- Interpret and evaluate NDT results to determine the quality of welds
- Review welding procedures and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements
- Provide guidance and support to welding personnel to ensure that welding activities are performed in accordance with industry standards and specifications
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all welding activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that welding activities are integrated into the overall project plan
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS:
- CSWIP 3.1 min.,AWS QC1 (1996 or later edition), IIW 1178, certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
- Previous work experience min. 5 years as a welding inspector/engineer.
- in-depth knowledge of welding processes (GTAW,GMAW,SMAW,SAW,BRAZING)
- Proficiency in code and standards (ASME,AWS,API)
Pay: ₹12,453.19 - ₹81,457.98 per month
