Position: Furniture Designer - Woodwork Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop innovative, functional, and aesthetically appealing home furniture pieces.
Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability.
Select appropriate materials and finishes while maintaining cost-effectiveness and sustainability.
Create detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and prototypes for production.
Ensure structural integrity, durability, and comfort in all furniture designs.
Collaborate with clients to customize designs based on their needs and preferences.
Requirements:
Proven experience in furniture design, particularly in woodworking and carpentry.
Strong knowledge of wood types, joinery techniques, and furniture construction.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling tools.
Experience in creating technical drawings and production-ready blueprints.
A creative mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in Furniture Design, Industrial Design, Interior Design, or Woodworking.
Experience working in a carpentry or furniture manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of sustainable and ergonomic design principles.

Pay: KD500.000 - KD700.000 per month
