Reggae Vybz Kitchen is a fast-growing Jamaican kitchen operating from a licensed commercial facility in Salmiya. We specialise in authentic Jamaican cuisine and pride ourselves on delivering delicious meals with top-tier service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food prep and cooking
- Follow recipes and kitchen procedures accurately
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations
- Handle food safely and follow hygiene standards
- Receive and store deliveries properly
- Wash pots, pans and other kitchen items as used
- Sweeping and mopping at the end of each shift
- Support in packing and plating customer orders
- Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to take direction and work independently when needed
- Must be punctual, dependable, and respectful
- Must be able to work full-time, Saturday to Thursday (Fridays off)
- 12-hour shifts; must be physically fit and energetic
- Must currently reside in Kuwait and be able to start within 2 weeks
