Description
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Field Engineering Geologist
Reporting: Reporting to Senior Engineering Geologist
Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)
- Supervise the drilling crew and labors in the field for the geotechnical investigation, and
field testing.
- Perform adequate inspection on the drilling and sampling operation in the field.
- Inspects proposed construction site, and ensure proper set up of test equipment and
drilling machinery.
- Arranges and assures all related logistic activities in the field such as site accessibility,
water, and sequence of drilling and other site activities in coordination with the Senior
Engineering Geologist.
- Ability for reading of project specs, and verification of the SoW (Scope of Work)
- Make a visual description of encountered soil and rock materials during drilling, and
prepare Field Logs.
- Logging of Trial Pits Samples.
