Location: Synvista Energy, Jeram Plant, Kuala Selangor, Selangor, Malaysia

The Chargeman/ Electrical Technician (Certified) is responsible for the supervision, maintenance, and safe operation of electrical systems within the Synvista Jeram manufacturing facility. This role ensures electrical installations comply with regulations and operate efficiently, supporting plant production and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage electrical systems operations, including switchgear, transformers, motors, and control panels.
• Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian electrical safety codes and standards (e.g., Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations).
• Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults quickly and coordinate repair activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to support plant reliability and upgrades.
• Support energy efficiency initiatives related to electrical system operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Chargeman certification recognized by Malaysian authorities (Suruhanjaya Tenaga or equivalent).
• Minimum 2-3 years industrial electrical maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing or energy storage sectors.
• Strong knowledge of both low and high voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Skilled in diagnostic and testing tools for electrical systems.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills.

Working Conditions

• Based at Synvista Energy Jeram manufacturing plant.
• May require shift work and standby duties for emergency response.
• Compliance with all plant safety and environmental regulations is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
