We are seeking a structured, motivated, and service-minded Bar Professional to join our dynamic team at one of Norway’s largest and most diverse venues in the heart of Oslo.

We’re looking for someone who:
Is customer service-oriented and dedicated to creative a positive experience for guests
Holds relevant work experience and/or education (lack of managerial experience can be compensated by appropriate personal qualities)
Communicates effectively in english, Scandinavian skills are a plus
Demonstrates leadership and motivation skills
Excels in time management and organizational skills
Has a genuine desire to motivate and uplift colleagues within the team
Is disciplined and, responsible, and able to thrise in a fast-paced environment
Possesses a solid understanding of finances and budget management
Is proficient with basic computer tools
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage staffing schedules to ensure seamless service
Oversee recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development for staff
Take overall responsibility for bar operations, including routines, maintenance, and cash handling
Manage inventory, ordering, budgeting, and cost control in collaboration with the Unit Manager
Develop and refine the bar menu to enhance guest experience
Lead by example on the floor, maintaining a high standard of service
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations, hygiene standards, and Norwegian alcohol laws
Manage POS systems and payment terminals efficiently
Uphold Kulturhuset’s shared vision and promote a positive team environment
