The Impact You’ll Make
You will be part of a growing part of the business, putting your organizational skills to use in scheduling delivery times, tracking inventory movements between departments, managing storage trailers, while reporting out to cross-functional departments. As the coordinator, you will be the first person of contact and will confirm receipts, schedule changes, and follow up on communications with all impacted areas. You will also coach and train receiving specialists to be able to cover functions and backfill as necessary.

Who You Are

  • Internal Customer Focused:You provide clear communication to our internal teams of receipt of both raw materials and co-packer product. You are the first contact for updates on receipts and will report out to a variety of groups as the process occurs.
  • Detail Oriented:Record keeping and documentation are critical to the role. Follow up with operations, materials management, purchasing are vital in ensuring the process is being completed to expectation. This will involve interaction with many different carriers and vendors and planning our receiving and communication to different disciplines accordingly.
  • Data-driven analyst:Skilled in SAP, SAP BI, Excel, TMW. The coordinator will work in all these systems to build schedules, plan labor, and work with department management for any additional labor needs based on continued growth and product flow (receiving and STOs to North).
  • Collaborative Communicator:Able to engage with production, materials management, FSQA, purchasing, our other facilities (North and Coldwater), and RDC.

What You'll Do

  • Optimize Product Receiving and Communication:Manage labor, materials, follow up with operations, materials management
  • Planning and Scheduling:Identify opportunities for additional workloads, shared labor, and efficient receiving/shipping for our customers.
  • Support Operational Decision-Making:Work cross-functionally with operations to optimize product flow to ensure delivery to impacted departments.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in receiving, shipping, and warehouse related activities.
  • Strong Excel skills; SAP or similar ERP experience preferred; JDA or similar WMS experience preferred
  • Experience analyzing data and explaining trends to cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable in both the office and on the production floor

Experience

Preferred

SAP and JDA knowledge preferred

Advanced Excel knowledge is required

Minimum of 3 years in Manufacturing or Shipping/Receiving
