PARK MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT (PERMANENT INTERMITTENT) - SAN DIEGO COAST DISTRICT / NORTH SECTOR / TORREY PINES STATE NATURAL RESERVE

The reporting location for this position is the Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve Maintenance Shop. This position will work under the direction of the Park Maintenance Chief I.
- The position may be required to work throughout the entire district on occasion. Duties require this position to lead a staff of seasonal park maintenance employees in the daily operations of housekeeping, facility maintenance, and equipment operations in the day use lots, State Reserve and the extension.

The incumbent’s work schedule will be Friday to Monday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m
- This position may work up to 1500 hours in any calendar year.

Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

This position is designated as not telework eligible.

Working Conditions

Typical work activities involve frequent periods of bending, stooping and lifting.

May have extensive exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors and/or loud noises.

May work in remote locations.
