Seasonal Clerk

This position is located in the city of Temecula.

  • Under the general supervision of the Team Manager, Staff Services Manager I, the Seasonal Clerk independently provides technical and clerical support to the Team Manager, and the VRSD team by performing simple administrative functions related to the vocational rehabilitation services delivery process consistent with the Code of Federal regulations, California Code of Regulations related to the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program and the department Rehabilitation Administrative Manual Sections 12 and 30; and state procurement requirements. The Seasonal Clerk must be courteous, tactful, and work cooperatively with other team members, community partners, and consumers always. State service entitlement, not to exceed 1500 hours in a calendar year.
  • The Inland Empire District/Temecula Office is responsible for service delivery of the Federal Title I Vocational Rehabilitation Services Program. The services assist eligible individuals in achieving their employment goals by providing training, assistive technology, supported employment and job placement support.

Working Conditions
- This position may be eligible for a hybrid telework option upon completion of the probationary period and will be required to report to the office as needed/required.

Seasonal Clerks, Student Assistants, Graduate Student Assistants:

Seasonal Clerks, Student Assistants and Graduate Student Assistants are not allowed to work more than 1500 hours in a calendar year. The anticipated time worked will be 20 hours per week. If selected, the employee will receive an hourly compensation based on the number of hours worked.
