Ranch Manager

Welfare for Animals Guild (WAG), a nonprofit animal welfare organization, is seeking a reliable and experienced Ranch Manager to oversee daily ranch operations and provide hands-on animal care. This role focuses on dog care, facility management, and volunteer coordination in a rescue ranch environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily ranch operations to ensure safe, humane care for dogs and people
• Monitor dog health, behavior, and well-being; report concerns to the Ranch Operations Manager
• Feed, groom, exercise, crate, and handle dogs as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of kennels, rooms, yards, and overall facility
• Control barking and assist with dog movement and enrichment
• Support and supervise volunteers; enforce ranch policies and procedures
• Greet visitors and volunteers and provide assistance as needed
• Respond to emergencies and medical situations, including contacting 911, the Ranch Operations Manager, or WAG President when necessary

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18.0 per week
