_We have an opportunity to join the transport team of a leading family owned manufacturer of high quality animal feed delivering to trade and farm customers throughout the South West. _
Permanent positions, with great overtime rates and additional long service benefits, including health scheme & extra hols!
Main function of job:
- To deliver animal feed to our customers throughout the South West
- To load lorries as and when required
- To collect raw materials to deliver into the mill or to farm
What we are offering:
- 45-hour week, 5 day week, Monday to Friday with a minimum of 2 nights out per week
- Regular Overtime expected - especially during busy periods
- Overtime includes working alternate Saturdays (up to 6 hours) throughout busy periods (great overtime rates of pay
- Paid training and time for CPC refresher and driving licence medical fee
- Standard holiday entitlement - with further days accrued with Length of Service

- Well maintained and updated fleet
What we are looking for in our drivers:
- Up to date CPC (although we provide refresher training)
- Class C+E essential
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work safely under pressure
- Compliance for road transport legislation and best practice H&S
- Willing to work additional/flexible hours to support business/team
- Physically fit
- Experience in Agriculture / Feed Delivery an advantage

Experience:
- Heavy Goods Vehicle Drivers: 1 year (preferred)
