This is a freelance, part-time or full-time workroom-based role in Richmond.
Job Summary
Depending on experience, work will be at times independent and with others.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut fabric according to specifications
- Sew and assemble curtains and blinds by hand
- Sew handmade cushions with pipings, trims and appliques.
- Inspect finished fabric and products for quality assurance
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Assist with inventory management of fabric and supplies
Requirements:
- Proficient in curtain making techniques, with proven experience making interlined curtains
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
We are also able to offer some flexibility with hours / working days.
