Description
Small animal practice seeking dependable, hard working and friendly weekend kennel technician. We provide our clients with professional, compassionate and ethical care. The practice is located in Driftwood, Texas, 35 minutes from downtown Austin.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Daily cleaning of dog kennels and cat condos, dog runs, play areas, exam rooms, surgery, and treatment area, and general housekeeping duties. Cleaning the area around the clinic is also required (trash, animal waste, random branches, etc)
- Communicate clearly with clients when assisting with pet drop offs/pick-ups, and updates
- Perform daily feeding of dogs and cats housed in the clinic.
- Walking dogs and rotating dogs in and out of the larger outdoor play areas.
- Perform daily laundry and weekly clinic errands
- This position does require cleaning duties, it’s very important the clinic stay clean visually.
Knowledge of dogs and cats is required.
Job Schedule: weekends and holidays will be required.
Compensation: Based on experience
Tuesday - Thursday (7:30 am - 5:30 pm shifts)
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
