Disability Support Worker (Female) - Flinders View QLD
Casual | $30-$60 per hour | Flexible Roster | Immediate Start
Adorable Living is a person-centred disability support provider delivering high-quality services across Brisbane. We are currently seeking an experienced Female Disability Support Worker to support a participant in Flinders View, QLD.
This is a one-on-one role supporting a participant with challenging behaviours and complex mental health needs, including schizophrenia, in both home and community settings. Due to the nature of support involved, applicants must be able to meet the participant’s individual comfort and care requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Behaviour support and de-escalation
- Mental health support and emotional regulation
- Light household duties
- Transport and community access
- Accurate shift and incident documentation
Essential Requirements
- Female applicants preffered
- Minimum of certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent)
- Experience with challenging behaviours and/or schizophrenia
- SIL or community support experience
- Driver licence and reliable, insured vehicle
- First Aid & CPR
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- National Police Check
- Full Australian work rights
Availability
- Day, evening, weekend & public holiday shifts
- Flexible availability required
