Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Serve beverages and food items efficiently and courteously to customers.
- Prepare and mix drinks according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glasses and sanitising surfaces.
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Strong serving skills with a friendly, professional manner.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately.
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
