We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Land Surveyor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will conduct field surveys, utilize advanced surveying technology, and produce accurate mapping and drafting documents. Your expertise will support a variety of projects, including construction, land development, and ALTA surveys, ensuring precise data collection and analysis.

  • Perform land surveys using Trimble GPS, Robotics, and other surveying equipment to gather accurate spatial data
  • Prepare detailed survey drawings and schematics utilizing AutoCAD and Carlson software
  • Conduct topographic surveys, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking to support project requirements
  • Analyze survey data through GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and other mapping tools for comprehensive project insights
  • Collaborate with engineers and clients to interpret survey plans and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
  • Maintain meticulous records of field measurements, data collection logs, and survey reports for project documentation

  • Proven experience in land surveying with a strong foundation in trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math principles

  • Proficiency with GPS technology, Trimble systems, Carlson and CAD drafting software
  • Knowledge of civil engineering principles related to construction layout and schematics interpretation
  • Ability to perform precise measurements using total stations and GPS equipment in various field conditions
  • Strong understanding of land surveying standards including ALTA surveys and boundary determination processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
