We are seeking an accomplished Seamstress / Tailor / Dressmaker to join our premium menswear suit department in Newry. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in men’s tailoring and alterations, working within a high-standard, fast-paced retail environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering precise, high-quality alterations across a wide range of tailored menswear, including:
Trouser alterations, including hemming and false hems:
Waistband adjustments:
Jacket sleeve alterations:
Waistcoat alterations:
Shirt alterations:
Ensuring exceptional finishing standards on all garments
- Working closely with the menswear team to meet customer expectations and deadlines
Demonstrable experience in menswear tailoring and garment alterations:
Confident working with suits, jackets, trousers, waistcoats, and shirts
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to manage workload efficiently in a busy department
- Professional, reliable, and discreet in a customer-focused environment
